Do you want to be trained by Master Sommeliers?
As the only place in Scandinavia, Scandinavian Wine Academy offer the Introductory Sommelier Certificate and Certified Sommelier Certificate from the renowned Court of Master Sommeliers – an organization committed to the highest standards in beverage knowledge and service.
The Introductory course is a 3-day program with lectures and both theoretical and practical exams. After the Introductory exam on the third day, you can take the Certified exam, the next level with additional requirements including a blind tasting.
Upon successful completion, you will for both exams receive a certificate and pin as proof of your skills.
Notice that passing the Introductory exam is a prerequisite for taking the Certified exam.
All teaching and examination will be held in English.
You register for both the Introductory and Certified courses now, and if you don’t pass the Introductory, we will refund your Certified exam fee minus a small administrative fee.

Is this an Introductory Wine Course?
No. Our courses are designed for those who are already working in the hospitality or beverage service sector. Due to the practical nature of the courses, we expect that candidates have some prior experience within these industries.
Is it suitable for those outside beverage service?
Because of the service component, some service experience is strongly advised. WSET Wine Courses offers great alternatives for those in the trade or with personal wine interests who don’t need service skills.
Can I skip directly to Certified or Advanced levels?
No. Each CMS level must be completed in order.
When is my registration completed?
Your registration is completed once we have received your payment. There is high demand for this course, so don’t hesitate too long.
What is the cancellation policy?
In case of cancellation of registration before December 1st 2025 the total course fee will be refunded with the exception of a small refund fee.
In case of cancellation between December 1st 2025 and January 15th 2026 50% of the course fee will be refunded with the exception of a small refund fee.
In case of cancellation after January 15th 2026 the course fee will not be refunded.
